LOT extends the possibility of free ticket changing

Warsaw, 28 July 2021 – In view of the comfort of travel planning, LOT Polish Airlines once again has extended for their passengers the possibility of flexible management of travel. Each and everyone who buys a ticket by the end of October 2021 will be able to make changes to their booking free of charge.

This summer, the aviation industry will gradually recover from the pandemic, which means greater availability of holiday destinations. To address the expectations of passengers, LOT will operate more tourist connections. The flight network will also be expanded to include selected regular European and long-haul destinations, and tickets for these connections are already available for sale.

LOT COMPLETES THE OFFER WITH SKYCELL’S HYBRID TECHNOLOGY

Warsaw, 12nd of May, 2021 - LOT Polish Airlines and SkyCell, a Swiss provider of hybrid containers, signed
an agreement that extends LOT Cargo’s capabilities in the transport of medicines and pharmaceutical products (PIL).
Thanks to advanced technology, SkyCell’s hybrid containers guarantee to maintain a constant transport temperature necessary for transporting demanding shipments even to  distant regions of the world.

LOT WITH APPROVED AID PACKAGE

Warsaw, December 22nd, 2020 - In the face of the biggest crisis in the history of the aviation industry, the European Commission and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland have approved an aid package for LOT amounting to PLN 2.9 billion. It consists of a PLN 1.8 billion loan and a PLN 1.1 billion of capital injection. Such financing of LOT was possible due to the good condition of the company before the pandemic.

LOT has introduced a number of changes to its passenger service and in-flight product, which will improve passenger comfort. In addition to technological changes in communication with the passenger, LOT was one of the first air carriers in Europe to introduce digital press on its boards. More than 1,000 titles can be downloaded via the mobile app 36 hours before departure and up to 6 hours after landing.
